Title:  President
Vernon was born and raised in Arlington County, Virginia. After graduation, he was in the U.S. Military Police before attending American University where he majored in Police Administration. While working for Defense Contractors, he held a TS Clearance and spent over five years with the Arlington County Police Department. Vernon and his wife, Betty, founded Alarm Specialist Company which specialized in private security, alarm systems, private investigations, canine services, along with having six uniformed officers and patrol cars. Omni Alarm Systems, Inc., which means going in all directions, was founded in 1975 starting with one employee in a two-room office. Omni sells and services residential and commercial alarm systems, access control and closed circuit TV systems. Omni provides its own on-site vault with safe deposit boxes. Omni's present facility, located on the Old Town Mall, was built in 1982.
Name:  Edward Schray, Sr.
Title:  General Manager
Duties:  Ed came to work at Omni in 1996. He is currently our General Manager and Criminal Justice Compliance Agent. Before joining our staff, he served in the U.S. Army and held management positions for several other security companies. He is now responsible for overseeing and managing all operations of Omni along with detailed supervision of the Installation and Service Departments. He also performs in-house training for staff.
Name:  Donnie Garrett
Title:  Sales
Duties:  Donnie was born and raised in Frederick County and graduated from Handley High School in 1988. He started his sales career with R.C. Cola and then went to work for Preston Moffett. Before coming to Omni, Donnie spent the last ten years selling and inspecting for the pest control industry. Donnie looks forward to discussing any of your security protection concerns.
Name:  Vicki Wolfe
Title:  Contoller
Duties:  Vicki overesees and manages the day-to-day operations of our business office. She is also responsible for accounts payable and receivable and handles customers' questions concerning their accounts as well as filing, statistics and maintaining company records. Vicki has been with Omni for over 14 years after working many years in another industry.
Name:  Diana W. Fritts
Title:  Manager - Call Center and Alarm Central Staion
Duties: Born and raised in Winchester, VA, Diana manages the daily operations of the Central Station and Call Center. She is also Omni's daily salesperson for all new Call Center accounts. Diana has been in the communications field for over 25 years. Before becoming the Manager, she spent 16 years as the National Customer Service Manager for Western Union Communications Co.
